Lee, director of films including “Do the Right Thing” and “Malcolm X,” tells the story in his new movie of a young Atlanta boy spending the summer in Brooklyn with his grandfather. Jonathan Batiste stars and performs in a supporting lead role in the Spike Lee Joint “Red Hook Summer”. The world premiere will happen at the Sundance Film Fest 2012 on January 22.
